About Us Finding Inspiration in Every Turn We are a family-owned and operated Block plant, trucking company and hardware store. Meet The Founder George Frederick also known as Pinchers hales from the Vermont Valley. He began from humble roots learning the trade of farming as a young boy, he started expanding his skillset and trained as a mechanic. His training came in handy as he invested in a bus and then a Truck. With this truck Pinchers trucking was born. ​ The trucking company soon expanded to making cement blocks. He has devoted the last twenty years to making the highest quality blocks. Starting from a hand mould some twenty years ago, to now having a semi-automatic machine. ​ For over twenty years Pinchers has been to supporting the local economy and providing jobs for their residents. The plant was moved to the current location in Pembroke and the hardware store was opened.
